World Forum is a leading international congress centre in The Hague, city of Peace and Justice. The World Forum is based in The Hague World Forum, the city’s international zone. Working together with the city council, we lend our support to meetings concerned with peace and justice.
The World Forum is dedicated to making every meeting an exceptional event. Recently, the World Forum was the venue for the successful international UN high-level conference on Afghanistan with 73 delegations, including Hillary Clinton, from all over the world. The combination of a multifunctional auditorium/theater and various break-out areas makes the World Forum the perfect venue for every type of event. There is enough room to welcome more than 5000 visitors at a time, but also sufficient intimacy to give your event a personal touch. It is even possible to transform the entire building to suit your personal wishes and project your desired image!

Five-star rating
Last year, the World Forum was awarded the maximum, five-star rating by conference accreditation agency, Het Erkende Congresbedrijf. Only eight conference venues in the Netherlands have been assigned this rating.
Ethical Program
World Forum adopts various approaches to ethical and sustainable business (The World Forum Ethical Program). World Forum was the first congress centre in the Netherlands to join the United Nations’ Global Compact initiative. This obligates us to actively promote human rights, employment rights, environmental responsibility and anti-corruption. We have formalised these objectives in an ethical program and aim to convert words into action by promoting conferences that are organised in an environment-friendly fashion. In 2008 the World Forum won the Green Award. The jury lauded the World Forum Ethical Program, which we use to encourage our customers to organise their events on a climate neutral basis. Last month we were also rewarded with the Golden Green Key, the highest possible classification. The Green Key is the international eco-label for companies in the tourism and recreation sectors that desire to be seriously occupied with environmental protection in a manner that can be monitored.
